"Again the local cognoscenti turned out in their assorted finery for the party of the year in this normally sleepy burg. Friends, it is difficult to express in these few words the scene that night. Host extraordinaire Wes Cox created a South Beach dream world right here on 3rd street.
Angels magically hovered on their gossamer wings, passing out libations. Beautiful young ingénues flirted and gyrated to the throbbing house beats. The color white somehow made us feel that we were in a fantasy world; someplace far away from Tulsa, where everyone is beautiful and happy, it rains champagne every day, and our only worry is what to wear to the next party..."
